“When anxious, uneasy and bad thoughts come, I go to the sea, and the sea drowns them out with its great wide sounds, cleanses me with its noise, and imposes a rhythm upon everything in me that is bewildered and confused.” Rainer Maria Rilke
Who With: Earthuncovered offers a range of therapeutic services for all ages in all life circumstances. Working one to one, with families, couples, or groups, the therapeutic experience offers a safe space to explore, reflect, connect, and play.
Where: Earthuncovered is currently based in Bristol, South Devon and Cornwall. Therapy can be offered within a traditional space such as a therapy room, or maybe within a natural environment such as a forest or seashore, involving an activity of your choice.
Why: Based on a growing body of research evidencing the mental health benefits of being within a forest, swimming within the sea, being with animals, or nurturing plants, Earthuncovered uses these natural spaces to reawaken connections within ourselves and with others. Holding a shared belief that our natural environment provides a relational feedback, which somehow mirrors to us life’s lessons.
